Welcome to the Pemberville Baseball and Softball Website.
The 2010 signup form is available. Signups will be on Sat Feb 27th and March 6th between 10:00am and Noon in the Eastwood Middle School cafeteria. You can also sign up on Monday March 1st at the Pemberville Elementary School cafeteria between 5:30 and 6:30pm.
Practices will start after April 1'st.
Baseball Scheduled for Boys teams will be available shortly.
Coaches:
Baseball Rules: The Southwood rule book (Boys U10 and up) covers Southwood specific rules. If a rule is not discussed in the Southwood book then we fall back to the USSSA rulebook to resolve any conflicts.Softball Rules: See the East Suburban league site for information. The rulebook is part of the Constitution.
Coaches are responsible for finding umpires for home games - a list of umpires from previous years is on the umpire page. This list will be updated following the umpire clinics. PBSA pays for 2 umpires for games with the exception of Boys U8 and TBall. We will pay for one umpire for Boys U8 if desired but it is preferred to have the coaches resolve plays.
GIRLS COACHES: There is a mandatory coaches meeting May 2nd, 1:00pm at Genoa Middle School.
A Umpire clinic will be held at 3:00pm at Genoa Middle school. While primarily focused on Softball it will be helpful for anyone wishing to umpire.
